Larry the Leprechaun has arrived!

Image
LOOK WHO'S CALLING! It's Larry the Leprechaun! We were surprised to receive a call from Leprechaun Larry this week! He even left us gifts- pots filled with GOLD COINS! Don't worry...Easton made sure to check all of the gold coins to make sure they weren't chocolate;) The kiddos also found out that I had Leprechaun Larry's phone number! They were surprised when I gave him a call to update him on their behavior at the end of the day! He wanted me to make sure to tell them that he only visits when they have been on their best behavior and when he can see that they are working hard! He even told me he might bring real gold nuggets next week!  Leprechaun Larry is lucky to know such a great class!  Let's see what he leaves us this week!

Happy Valentine's Day!

From bringing in donations to spending countless hours helping your student at home, I can not thank you enough! Our week was full of learning, dancing, snacking, and valentine's making! We loved spreading kindness to everyone around us! I am so blessed to call your kiddos my Valentine's!  "We love you parents!" Happy Valentine's Day from your Little Monsters:)

Learning about -ap words makes us H A P P Y!

This week we learned all about the -ap word family! We learned that in order for words to live in the -ap house, the word has to have the last name -ap! Knowing these word families helps us become better readers and writers:) We were given an empty house and had to fill each bed room with an -ap word! After all the bedrooms were full, we went back and added a night light for the -ap words!  H E R E  A R E   S O M E  -AP   W O R D S   W E   K N O W: -cap -tap -rap -map -nap -sap -zap We could go on for days! We also found -ap words in our poem called "On My Lap"! We are so excited to see what word family we learn about next!
